On April 3, 2026, Burapha University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences hosted a study gathering to develop policies, strategies, and research plans for social sciences, humanities, and arts (SHA) in the Eastern area. The meeting was presided over by Burapha University’s President, Associate Professor Watcharin Gasalak, Ph.D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning session centered on knowledge exchange, while the afternoon session included a field trip to investigate community situations. This hands-on experience gave participants excellent insights into the utilization of cultural capital in regional development, which is critical for determining future research topics.
The primary objective of this event was to create a collaborative platform for administrators, researchers, and stakeholders to define aligned policies, strategies, and indicators. These efforts aim to enhance the effectiveness of research in the Eastern region, address societal needs, and contribute to the meaningful advancement of knowledge for national development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
