Volunteers from the Republic of Korea’s Pusan National University
On January 7, 2025, Associate Professor Suchada Pongkittiwiboon, Ph.D., Dean and Lecturer of the Korean Language Program, Department of Oriental Languages, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, welcomed volunteers from Pusan National University, Republic of Korea, consisting of Prof. Lee Ok Hee and 8 Korean volunteer students from the Faculty of Humanities, Major in Korean Language and Literature, to participate in the Korean Language and Culture Skills Program. The Korean Language Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Burapha University, and the Student Affairs Division, Pusan National University, collaborated to provide academic activities in Korean language and culture for students of the Department of Oriental Languages. Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, 1st-3rd year students, 171 people, between January 5th and 13th, 2025, totaling 40 hours of academic activities, this project not only helps students improve their language skills and knowledge of Korean, but it also develops competencies and skills required in the 21st century. This is the fifth time it’s been held.
