A delegation from Yunnan Minzu University, People’s Republic of China.

On June 6, 2026, Assistant Professor Thepporn Mangthanee, (Ph.D.), the Deputy Dean for Infrastructure and Environmental Strategy, welcomed a delegation from Yunnan Minzu University, People’s Republic of China. This meeting, held at Burapha University, also included faculty members from the Chinese Language Program within the Department of Eastern Languages, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The delegation comprised the following members:

1. Mr. Huang Caiwen, Director of the Yunnan Provincial Institute of Ethnic Studies
2. Ms. Tang Zhiying, Deputy Dean of the International School
3. Mr. Yang Gang, Lecturer at the School of Liberal Arts
4. Mr. Yan Nuo, Program Officer at the International School
   The purpose of the meeting was to discuss potential collaboration in developing a dual-degree program with the Chinese Language Program, fostering academic cooperation with the Thai Studies program, promoting postgraduate studies (Master’s and Doctoral) at Yunnan Minzu University, and exploring joint research opportunities between the two institutions.
