The Central Region Local Research Fair “Driving Communities with Local Research”

On May 23, 2025, Burapha University, in partnership with the National Research Office (NRCT), hosted the Central Region Local Research Fair “Driving Communities with Local Research” in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Ms. Saowanee Mungsukritkarn, the National Research Office’s Deputy Director, presided over the opening ceremony. Phawanee Khamchalee, Director of the National Research Office’s Research and Innovation Promotion and Support Division, presented a report. Associate Professor Jittima Charoenphanich,(Ph.D.) Burapha University’s Vice President for Research and Innovation, delivered a welcome speech.
The event was arranged to present the Central Region’s research findings to the public and to strengthen the Central Region’s research network, which will lead to collaboration in working to strengthen communities. The event featured a number of activities, including: 3 panel discussions:
1) CBR labor generates individuals and communities.
2) From academics (generic) to local research scholars (CBR)
3) Villagers can become researchers by presenting research projects to the Central Region, participating in workshops, and exchanging expertise with local researchers and partners.
