Environmental conservation activities, including mangrove planting.
On October 3, 2025, Burapha University’s Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and societal Sciences, launched a competency development project focusing on life and job skills, morality, ethics, and societal contribution. The project includes mangrove planting as an environmental conservation activity at the Mangrove Forest Conservation and Ecotourism Study Center in Samet Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chonburi Province.
This program aims to raise students’ knowledge about the importance of environmental conservation. Mangrove forests absorb CO2 to help reduce global warming, filter wastewater, and generate income for the community. Furthermore, it promoted togetherness, encouraged people to devote their free time to public service, and did good in honor of His Majesty King Rama IX.
