Finding Dreams: University–Elementary Student Mentoring Program.
On July 10, 2026, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Burapha University organized an academic service project titled “Finding Dreams: University–Elementary Student Mentoring Program.” This initiative was developed in collaboration with The Salvation Army Korea and POSCO E&C from the Republic of Korea. The project’s goal was to enhance knowledge, life skills, and understanding of international languages and cultures, with a particular focus on Korean language and culture, for youth in educational institutions within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) area.
Additionally, the program promoted the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and psychological counseling in career guidance to assist youth in discovering their potential and planning their future educational paths effectively.
Activities included field trips that provided students with real-world experiences. University students served as mentors, engaging in activities with sixth-grade students at Ban Nong Faep School and Wat Takuan School in Rayong Province. The program also featured workshops on Korean culture, where participants learned about various cultural aspects, tried on Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing), and practiced Korean conversation in simulated scenarios.
