Finding Dreams: University–Elementary Student Mentoring Program.

On August 11, 2026, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Burapha University organized an academic service project titled “Developing Youth Potential to Discover Dreams and Future Career Paths (Finding Dreams: University–Elementary Student Mentoring Program).” This initiative was carried out in collaboration with The Salvation Army Korea and POSCO E&C from the Republic of Korea.
The project’s objective was to enhance the knowledge, life skills, and understanding of international languages and cultures—particularly Korean language and culture—among youth in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) area. It also aimed to promote the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and psychological counseling in career guidance, helping young people to discover their potential and envision future educational and career paths.
During this program, students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences engaged in real-world experiences as mentors for sixth-grade students at Wat Takuan School in Rayong Province. Activities included learning about Korean language and culture, as well as a creative “dream frame” activity, where students decorated photos of themselves in traditional Hanbok attire, expressing their dreams and future aspirations.
